This is the fourth book in the club Shadowdance series and it is an improvement. Tori is finally a heroine who takes her safety seriously! She does not go off half cocked just to spite her Dom as the others seemed to.Trace is a really sweet hero, it is a change up to see this gentle Dom. He is very much into sensuality over punishments. Loved it! Only problem is the steam was light. Only a few sex scenes. Even though they have lots of creative sex we barely hear the details! This is erotica, we expect all the dirty dishing!
I did enjoy the mixing of stories and POV of characters other than the leads. I lived Jaime and hope he gets his own book!
This series sucked me in with the engaging characters and intricate plot line. Sure it had some fail moments and at times it drags especially with the remedial BDSM lessons. In the end I was entertained and want to see more of the characters and supporting cast. Well done Avery and I hope to see more!
