Raven is a new author for me and I am just getting a feel for her writing. It had a bit of a slow start but I am not sure if that is because I am also trying to get a feel for the erotic romance regency genre as well.The characters were ok. It took me quite a while to warm up to they and it is not really my fave pairing for a menage. I have read other FFM books and did not hat them so, I felt like giving this one a chance.
I felt like the build up took too long. The pace at the beginning of the book was kind of dragged out. It was nice story telling but I really wanted something to happen.
When it finally did get to the steam it was very nicely done!! Plenty sensual and just the right touch of hot and heavy action. And who knew Regency types would get down with the dirty talk!
All in all, I am happy to have found this author and am eager to check out the rest of this series. Happily, I picked them all up for a song on the Publisher's website!
