Is there such a thing as too much sex in an erotic romance? This book pushed me to my limits with all the steam. I freely admit to skimming most of the sex scenes and by the end I was like enough, I just want to cuddle!In addition to every chapter having a sex scene , a few of the interactions were less than consensual. It was more coercion than seduction. I was not crazy about the heroes for the first part of the book, they were kinda jerks. But they made up for it later by coming through for their lady.
Jessica was a kick a$$ character with loads of spunk. And her best friends Michaela was terrific too. The side romance was truly enjoyable to read as well.
There was a really great story buried under all that sex. It was compelling, interesting and emotional at times. This is the kind of book that frustrates me, it is the beautiful girl who lacks confidence and sluts it around. You want to tell it "Honey, you are a great story, you don't need to have sex every ten pages to be liked!"
In the end I am definitely invested in the series and will hop right into bed with the next book. I can only hope there is a little less steam.
