I really enjoyed the latter part of the story. It really felt like a slow build until the action took hold. It was more of a simmer than a full on forest fire. I wanted things to pop off right away.
I liked Sherry and Quinn and they had some really interesting elements to their story. I just thought the beginning was bogged down with exposition and mundane details. Once the action picked up about 2/3 through they book things moved along really quickly! Loved the end and am really interested in what comes next for this unique series.
The steam was yummy but it could have been hotter. I really wanted them to give my Kindle a fever but they only got her warm and fuzzy. I expected more because the first book in the series was quite deliciously steamy.
