What's In A Name?
This was a fun suspense book with a touch of romance. Great characters and a terrific plot. Loads of twists and turns. There is a romance, with sort of open door bedroom scenes. It is more about the overall suspense and less of the smexy romance. It kept me on the edge most of the time and was a really great listen.
There is a really great dynamic between Kelli and Blake, very nicely played out. The book is a mixed narrative, so you get a POV for both of them. It really adds to the story and makes it more engaging to the reader.
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Pamela Almand, who always does a great job. I love her voice, really smooth with a touch of rasp. She was terrific at adding just the right level of sass to Kelli. Her male voices held a touch of depth but never went too far. She is always a pleasure to listen to and has a swift pace making the book really move.
Overall, there is a lot of story here, really has many levels and depth. I would love to read more of Ms. Odell's works. She has a great storytelling style that keeps the reader wanting more.
